I have a 1994 ford f150 with the 4.9L I6 and the colder it gets the harder (more times to crank) it is to start the engine. Any idea what I should be looking at?
Bad oxygen sensor? If so why would it be hard to start in the cold and not when it is warm outside?
Other things to look at ???
I forgot to add, the cranking power is always there with the battery. When it is cold, the more I crank it the closer it gets to starting, til it actually starts. What would regulate the amount of fuel for starting an engine? Fast Idle works.
