I own a 1982 Dodge Ram with a Slant Six and an automatic transmission. When i switch gears, the truck will buck or stall and then just shut down, it usually only does this in park to drive or park to reverse or drive to reverse or reverse to drive. The truck hasn't been driven in the past three years and I have only driven it about 5 miles in the past two days. Could it be that the truck just needs to be driven more, or is this a more serious problem. Also, it takes about ten key turns to get it started, until it starts it just makes a clicking sound, a starter problem maybe?
