The last 2 time I got gas, We start up our Hyundai Sante Fe and it wants to stall, after a couple times trying to start it it will be ok, then no problem after that? any Ideas?
There is a filter attached to the filler assembly that runs to the vacuum system by way of a valve assembly. The valve that is supposed to close off the raw fuel is open and has to pull a vacuum on the tank until it cant get anymore fumes........then your engine runs fine again. Prove its the valve by removing the fuel cover with the engine idling and listen for a change in rpms
