why does my yamaha snowmobile cylinders fill up with gas when it is shut off?

I had the carbs cleaned. I then filled it up with gas brought it home then started it up ran great then I let it sit for about 20 min went back to start it and pulled the cord and could not I then pulled the plugs and then pulled the recoil cord and gas shot from the cylinder about 10 to 15 feet in the air from both cylinders. This again is a pz480 1986 yamaha phazer.

Well the float is stuck and flooding that's why,who ever cleaner the carb for go to make sure the needle valve was free or a good set.Any way the float or needle is stuck.

quick fix is to put a shut off valve in your fuel line and use it every time your sled is not running....I had the same prob with my tractor.
