Oh and just so everyone knows, he was never tortured when we got him. We got him from the pet store. Again, we are always with him the moment we get home from work/school he is either out back with our other dogs or he comes inside with us. He's in most of the time but prefers being outside. Sometimes i'll even let him sleep in my room on pillows so he's very well taken care of. Fed twice a day and we always check his water. So he's in a safe loving environment. and he loves people! That's the odd thing about our Chihuahua lol. Most people say Chihuahua's don't care to much for people but our's love it when we have company. Thought I might point that out. Just have no idea why he whines when he is on the leash. That is all. Since thanksgiving is tomorrow, happy thanksgiving!
So, we have a Chihuahua who is now a year and a half. He is one of the sweetest Chihuahua's ever and he is very playful. We all love him to death and are always with him 24/7 except at night when we put him in his crate so he can sleep then the moment we all wake up we let him out and play with him and continue on with our routines. We give him enough love and care. He's been on several walks and each time he whines like he is being tortured. He is ok if he's not on the leash, but the leash is not tight at all we don't yank or yell at him even when he's in the house we don't. He's very friendly to all people and he is not like most Chihuahua's. But I'm concerned just for the whining when he's on a walk on the leash. We want to teach him not to be afraid of it but it doesn't work. Any tips and pointers would be greatly appreciated! Please and thank you!
