Everywhere I've traveled people say hello and look you in the eye and smile. But for some reason Washington DC and the surrounding metro area have a whole different type of people and attitude. Seriously, I've found New Yorkers to be more cordial than Washingtonians.
Is it the traffic, the status seeking in general, the high cost of living? What is it?
