In the morning, when I go to start my truck, white smoke will come out of the exhaust pipe. It only comes out for a second or two, then it goes away. And it only seems to do it after it has been sitting overnight. If I drive it somewhere and the engine warms up, and I shut it off, when I go to restart it, it doesn't do it.
It's an 02 GMC Sierra with 94,500 miles.

What is the make, model and mileage on your truck?

It sounds like your car could be burning coolant. If so, you probably have a gasket leak. Check your coolant level to see if it low. If so, fill it to normal and keep an eye on it.

I would have it checked out the next time you need the oil changed.

Normal condensation build up in the exhaust which burns off as steam after warming up.
