Stupid question I bet no one can answer but I have thought of this for many months now. LOL is the most common abbreviation on the internet but every time I use a spell checker it always tries to correct it. After all these years why don't the programmers recognize LOL as a legitimate spelling? I used LOL 3 times in this question and I have 3 misspellings according to the spell checker lol. now i have 4.
