celebrities, politicians and corp execs? Why the he ll are celebs, politicians, and corporate execs get away with all their crimes. All they get a little fine and a little slap on the wrist.

Ex:1 Lindsay lohan in jail for only 84 mins + a fine (which is petty change for her) for DUI and trying to evade police...

Ex: 2 Corporate executives get caught for fraud... and still get to keep a portion of the money the stole.... lol but they worked hard for their money.... sigh

THEY DON'T LEARN THEIR LESSON THE 1ST TIME

Why eliminate white collar prison. That would actually teach the fu ckers a lesson. Give them time in a real prison with real criminals, with the rest of the population. Maybe then... they would actually think twice before they committ a crime.

This would also discourage execs from abusing stimulus money to... your thoughts
Lol Dan, not if you've had a history of offences. You'd get locked up in the slammer for at least 24 hours

Honestly, most celebs get the same treatment as normal people. Lindsay Lohan got a fine. Most people that commit DUI's do not go to jail for very long and get fined, so why should she be any different? The news tends to make a big deal about celebs and emphasizes how puny their punishments are, but in reality, those are the same punishments given to everyone else. And it's hard to know what you mean by fraud - they don't get to keep their money, but if it's been spent how would you propose they get it back?
