Why haven't Repubs complained about all the times Bush spent pork?

The Republicans in congress voted in favor of all Bush's pork spending. and not once did I hear any you Repubs complain.

now Obama has pork spending and you're attacking him left and right.

p.s. Don't try using the argument, "Bush's spending was for the war." Some of it was for the war, but much of it was pet projects here at home.
Bush only vetoed one spending bill in his entire 8-year presidency; the stem-cell research bill. Everything else he signed.

They are hypocrites and liars. When confronted with this obvious contradiction they now claim not to have supported Bush. Funny that he still has a 24% approval rating, the same as the republican party overall, and almost the same as the number of people who identify themselves as conservative.

Good point.

Katrina was the Biggest Pork Bill ever. And most of it went into Pockets of Democrat Politicians in LA.

But Obama will beat this record with PAY-OFFS to his Fellow Corrupt Organizations, Friends, and Democrat Politicians.

ALL Obama Supporters care about is getting Bigger Welfare Checks.

Sorry here: "Pork" and earmarks are the domain of Congress! They write and pass bills and slip in the Earmarks/pork!

Check History, George W Bush never served in congress! The president Spends what Congress tells him to. The president cannot legislate, only Congress!

I spent a LOT of time calling congress and representatives complaining about the RINO Bush and McCain.

I hope that Obama fails totally and completely soon and that conservatism can begin to make a strong comeback!

NOBAMA!

Call Republican House minority leader John Boehner, or FORMER minority whip Roy Blunt and ask them if they felt any heat from Conservatives last Fall.

It really irked me when G.W. Bush tried to work with the Democrats to get legislation passed. He tried with the education bill, the farm bill and other bills with pork in them so that the Democrats would get things done.

It irked me as a Conservative Republican because when Bush "crossed the isle", he capitulated on a lot of principles of lower taxes and less government.

Now that the Dems are in Congress, they pass their pork without any kind of compromise with Republicans.
And then, the Democrats have the gall to say that Republicans are the ones who passed the pork when GW Bush was in office.

Oh brother! Like the saying goes, "Dammed if you do, and dammed if you don't"

A lot of republicans did, why did Dems complain when Bush spend 1 trillon dollars over a few years but praised Obama when he does it in 1 month?

Take note, people. BDS is alive and well.

Keep your eye on the ball. Bush is gone.
Obama is fumbling.
Democrats control congress.
Now ask yourself, are they doing a good job?

John McCain complained about it. but thats the only Republican i can think of. I dont think i heard Cantor, Boehner, and McConnell complain during the Bush years. i guess they were all for the pork. now that Obama is president, they all of a sudden found religion
