why is bittorent confusing to use? is it safer than ares?

i'll search the song and it opens a tab and i'll go to the website and most of the time it won't download the damn song...i'll click on "download torrent" and most of the time it will say it isn't valid
I went to pirate bay and I downloaded where it says "torrent" for the song and it says it wasn't valid...wtf it's pissing me off
what websites am I supposed to use when I want to download songs? it's weird...i'll search the song on bit torrent and it comes up with all these websites which I don't know which are good to use!!!! HELP!!!!
 
you usually dont go to a torrent site to download just .mp3's. its more for albums, and movies and programs. i suggest not using ares because it's shi.tt.y and you download files straight from other people meaning that you can download their virused up computer, everyone i knew who had ares, had a really clogged up comp.
