why is every smear ad paid for by interest groups, and why overly harsh and absurd?
I haven't seen that one yet. They want to engender anger and fear in people so they can get control. It is a tactic and it is so strange that people are stupid enough to believe them. But the more lies they tell, the more people seem to believe them. They work like Satan and put in a little truth and then throw in all the lies and blow it up to something it never was. On the internet, they don't even bother t put in the little bit of truth. Saw some on tv back before the election bragging about doing that in previous elections and how effective it was. It was disgusting. They tried to justify it saying it went back past Thomas Jefferson. Said they did it to John Kerry and he didn't respond quick enough and he didn't think people would believe it, but they did. All that stuff about the boat and his heroism --- they put out a lot of lies about that. I don't even know what was lies and what was not. But they were bragging about it and that he didn't react quick enough to stop it and to point out the truth so he lost the election. Some of the men were from Texas, I remember. Said they wouldn't let Hillary be elected. Don't know why they were so adamant about her. It is funny as they actually got people to vote for Obama in the primary not thinking he would get elected, but they wanted to make sure Hillary didn't get elected. That was on about midnight one night and I was on the computer later and heard it all on tv. It was disgusting. I don't believe anything I see on the internet now.
