Why is it that The Heat couldn't close the game with a victory today?

From leaving Pierce OPEN for 3's, to not calling timeouts quick enough to save seconds (when O'neal grabbed a rebound after a FT at the end of the game), to mssing key FTs, & etc.

Could a superstar had fixed those problems?
