Why is Mitt Romney touring the world, and making headlines as if he's

A headline 31 minutes on Google News reads "Romney praises Polish spirit, Creatiity in Warsaw." Why is this news? He goes on to say that the U.S should emulate Poland's model for small government. It seems like Romney, and the press are a lot more preoccuipied with foriegn countries, than our own country, and its election season.

Since he is the assumed winner of the election it's great that he will be able to hit the ground running.

Well in the UK he acted no better than the last Republican President who was also known to put his foot in it, every time he opened his mouth. It is because of him that most of the world hates America's foreign policy. Is Romney going to continue that trend? If so, he would be better off staying at home and avoiding foreign countries where his welcome will be at best, luke warm.
