Using Vista with an AMD quad with 6gigs of RAM a 10 meg connection and fast HD's. I work on it all day and recently it has started to really drag. Since much of what I do is online it is most noticeable here. I will type a sentence and I have to wait three to five seconds for the next sentence to appear. Then it is ok for a while then Bam! Slows down again. I have defragged and anti virused and fixed the errors in my registry. It is like it is saving to cache when that can't be can it? Rebooting helps some but it is like my DSLR when I burst shoot. At some point it needs to stop and store. I am flummoxed! Would appreciate some help on this as I have no hair to pull out. Thanks
