Why is my Sony Ericsson W350 saying that i don't have a memory chip when i do.?

like 2 hours ago. i put it in the adapter to look at it. then i put in my scar memory shot thing, i thought it would fit, but it didn't it was to small, the memory stick got stuck and i had to pull it out. then i put the Little Chip back in my phone, and now it is saying there in no ship to be found, but the chip is in the phone.

What happened. is it broken. or how can i fix this. HELP!!

Hi the problem you may have is that you've damaged the little gold terminals on the memory card thats why its not registers in the phone ! what you need to do is try your memory card in another sony ericsson phone to see if the memory card registers in another phone or what you could do is gently wipe the gold terminals with a soft cloth if this doesnt work then all you can really do is buy another memory card ... sorry cant be nemore help
