ok don't laugh at me now!!!

I have a 1992 GMC 1500 pick up that's has a 1969 Camaro 350 engine in it. And all it does is overheat like crazy.... All the way to 250 in 15 min.

what's new:
new rad
new distrib
new cap
new wires
new plugs
new 400 TH Trans
new clutch for the fan (today)
new rad cap
timing set
600 holley carb

you name it I have done it, and I'm sure I missed a few things.

I'm at a total loss ! When I'm doing 55-60 mph it cools to the 190 mark.... I mean what the hell?!?

any ideas and any help would be great !
I'm going broke trying to fix it and I'm doing all the work on my own !!!

thanks
nikkie

One reason might be the air conditioning. If you have the air conditioning on a lot while the car is not moving it will overheat like crazy. Try opening the windows for a while instead of cranking the a/c.
