i have a 1979 K5 blazer 4x4
350 engine
sm-465 trans
np-205 transfer case
lifted approx 4-6 inches(was lifted when bought it dont know exactly)
33 inch tires
3.08 gears in differentials

it has been breaking the u joint on the rear output yoke on the transfer case every 30 minutes of driving if that.(ive gone through like 10 in probably 100-150 miles of driving)
when i first got the truck it did fine didnt break them. one day i was crossing the highway and i got half way accross it and shifted into 2nd gear and u joint popped. then after that the time between it breaking only got sooner. i.e. second one happened about 20 miles then third one 15 or so and so on...

drive shaft has dent in it
right now slip yoke is on transfer case
i turned the drive shaft around and put the slip yoke on the differential yoke still broke the u joint on the transfer case end
could this be a good indication the yoke on the transfer case be bad?
the yoke on the transfer case does have some damage and the yokes on the drive shaft are good but it does have a dent

any info would be appreciated :D thanks

Seems Like The Yoke Is On You....no...bring The Whole Mess To A Machine Shop That Does Driveshaft Repair...any Dents Or Weight Removal Is Critical...also Buy Racing Heavy Duty U-joints
