First off, go to Start Menu -> Run -> Type in the box, "cmd" Afterward some window should pop out and you should type, "ping 192.168.0.1" (without quotes). If you see something like, "Fail," or something like that then your network card in your computer is malfunctioning and you should get a new one. Otherwise, you must be connecting improperly. If you have a router (which I assume because you have wireless Internet), connect one ethernet cable from your computer into one of those 4 holes on the back of the router. Not the 2 isolated ones with spacings... the one jam-packed with 4 all together. Worst comes to shove, call a technician. Hope it helps.
