We hit it off right away and she gave me her Number just a couple of days after talking. We text messaged each other everyday. About three weeks ago we went on our first date to the foo fighters concert and the next week I took her to the baseball game. Both nights were awesome.She was flirty and sociable. On the first date she sat in my car for about five minutes hesitating and rambling awkwardly..I was thinking she was expecting a kiss..but I didn't give in. The second date I walked her to her door and kissed her twice. I told her I liked her and she said she liked me too with a big smile. On our way home that night she said if her dad was asleep I could come in with her..and any guy thinks that's an invite to sex. She was worried about her dad waking up..I was fine with it and didn't push her. The next night she invited me out with her friends. She asked me twice previously but I couldn't go and I didn't think I was ready to meet the friends. But I went that night and she acted weird and distant the whole night. When I walked her to the door she slightly hugged me and turned to the door. She started looking through her purse nervously. I leaned in for a kiss but she didn't look up so I kissed her on the forehead and said goodnight. Thinking I wasn't going to hear from her, she still went me a text the next day..but was short. The next day I asked her for ice cream that wednesday which was in a few days. She was cool with it..asked what time and asked if I was feeling better as I was sick. I responded and told her what time..she never responded the next day. I sent her a text on that Wednesday and asked if I hurt her feelings and if I did I wanted to know because I cared. She apologized for being distant..but thought "we" were putting too much expectation on our friendship. She wanted to tell me in person and return a dvd I let her borrow but was afraid I would get mad. I apologized if I was rushing things(which I wasn't at all) and she said she wanted to go out for lunch that day and talk. I couldn't as I had to work. Two days passed and I sent her a text telling her I still wanted to talk. She told me she was booked for the weekend. I told her it was cool and told her whenever she was available during the week. Four days passed and she never responded. I sent her a text and told her I still wanted to talk and if not I wanted my dvd returned. She responded the next day and we arranged for plans on Sunday(last night). I told her I had plans in the air sunday..but it wasn't a big deal. She didn't want me to cancel plans just for her...told me good luck as I had interviews coming up. I told her Sunday was fine. Last night I sent her a text a couple hours before I as scheduled off at work and told her I'd tell her when I got off. Right when I got off she sent me a message and said she was really tired and told me go out with my friends. I told her that it was ok and goodnight. No response. I'm 23 and she's 22. I was getting really aggrivated and wanted to tell her I was done..but then again..I don't know what her problem is. She could have real issues. First off ladies..do you think her friends have their fingers in this? Also..I do really care for her..but then again I'm not going to deal with games. If it wasn't for the dvd...I probably would've given up by now. Is she using the dvd as a tool to keep me around until she makes up her mind or figures things out? She did seem to like me and we got close..then she ran off scared. Did her friends manipulate her..or is she afraid of being hurt? How long should I wait to ask her again. This is a really tough situation..I would hate to give up as we built a strong connection.</blockquote>
