Why is there so little repect for football/soccer referees?

we deserve some its a extremly difficult thing bein a ref in this sport we get f**k all help and have to make hundreds of on the spot descions a match and get hated if we get even the most unimportant thing weong. maybe people just need to take this sport less seriously.
 
Simply because some of them are clowns. Atkinson---results of games he referees when Chelsea are playing Chelsea win 13 tie 1 lose 0. mmh
 
Because there is a kind of fear and paranoia mainly derived from news some years back in Italy ever since the referees become Juventus's best friends.
 
My dad was a ref for my soccer league for a short time an I never really appreciated how annoying and difficult it was until he told us about it. I guess that it is mostly just because we don't like to be told that a call that is important is not for us. So there really isn't a way to fix it. Deal or quit.
