Supposedly using logic to disprove religion is wrong because God is a being beyond anyone's comprehension, therefore it would be impossible to use Earthly logic to disprove God, because God it more than anyone could understand, yet it was ok for Jesus to use the same kind of logic (parables) to prove God's existence. The proof (Bible) isn't solid anyways, if I was educated enough and were to arbitrarily create some holy scripture from scratch and claim that it was "God's word", who could honestly disprove me? In this sense how can anyone put their heart and soul and blindly believe a text that may have been created by some random person such as myself? Are they just so afraid of the reality of life that they have to believe something to feel like their life even means anything? All it takes is someone who is very charismatic and convincing to make the masses believe whatever he/she wants them to... Like I said, the scariest thing would be to come to the realization that life has no purpose whatsoever, isn't it? Therefore, why can't we just come up with excuses to believe why it has any meaning at all? Oh wait, we have...
