I live in a 2 floor townhouse, built in 1986 on a concrete slab. This past November I had a new heat pump-a/c unit installed. It has been hot here in MD but isn't overpoweringly hot today. It is raining on and off outside and at times it is raining quite hard. In any case the a/c is set at 78 so it isn't running a lot. When I came to the first floor I heard water running in my living room and saw it coming out of the ceiling a/c vent. It was a heavy rate of dripping but not enough to say a stream of water. At the time the a/c was running so I shut it off. Right before the a/c completely stopped, the water stopped. I am leery about turning the a/c back on as even though it is not extremely hot outside it is going to be stuffy and a bit warm in here shortly if I do not turn the air back on but I am afraid the water will start leaking again. Any ideas as to why and what to do about it? All help is greatly appreciated.
