Why isn't my dog afraid of me?

I growled at her and showed my teeth... and move my head quickly... trying to be like her.... she looked at me like I am crazy.

What did I do wrong?

because a dog is programmed to recognize other dogs...not humans pretending to be dogs.

Because she knows humans dont naturally do that. If you had done that from since she was born then she would maybe be a little afraid.
