i just got one of my friends blackberry flip. its a diffrent service. when i put in my sim card on the very top it said invalid sim card.
why on my blackberry flip it says invalid sim card?

It's because it's locked to the carrier...

If the Blackberry Flip Phone says Invalid Sim means it locked to Network,So if you need to use any GSM network Sim card in the Phone You need to Unlock it,You can get the Unlock code and Instructions at

Your Phone Says Invalid Simcard beacuse it is locked to a particular network. You have to unlock your Blackberry Flip. The best way to unlock your Blackberry is to purchase the unlock code from a trusted vendor.
