More educated I become, unhappier I become. I want to be a child again, I want to defend my pride, but it is hopeless. My conscious tells me that religion has lost it's magic, that salvation is for the thieves, murderers, and slanderers of mankind. The loneliness has it's own air which refreshes my mind, but my river of thought is overflowing with self doubt. If you feel that your parents lied to you about the world, would you forgive their trespasses, their double standard of living, their questionable doctrines of lie. I know that I am not alone in this futile existence, but thinking of their lies and self righteous bigotry is suffocating me. My identity is under question, who am I ? Am I a strange creature from another universe or am I an ape with an overgrown hippocampus ? I am not a child, that is the saddest part and that my questioning about this world and the world hereafter will not suffice. Is my erudition is a solution to my questioning or is it beginning of a new judgement ? Who will question all my doubts, Jesus the Nazarene, who never defended for his life and as he died on the cross, his Father in heaven forsaken him. That man on cross, Was he self-deluded or were we told the story of a deluded man by some madman on the pulpit. Who "Yahed" with the "Nay" ? Who embraced a venomous serpent as the guardian of mankind's highest thorn, this mind, this thoughts ? Religion has lost it's magic, no pleasure without any prize; that prize is agony, suffering, castration, self delusion and worst renunciation of this world to a world hereafter.
