why shouldn't I be able to travel and/or do business in Cuba?

how is that not a huge restriction on my personal freedom? If I want to go on vacation to Cuba, why is that anyone's choice but mine?

obviously the embargo isn't working anyway, it just gives the Cuban government a huge scapegoat to blame all of the country's problems on.
 
Because Cuba won`t let American banksters and communication companies control their market and influence elections. That is how it all started, American companies in Cuba were influencing elections so Cuba kicked out the companies and Cuba had to bow to Russia for oil and grain.
 
There are rich Cuabn exiles living in Florida.

They want their land and fortunes in Cuba back.

They donate heavily to both political parties and live in a Swing State.
