...jews in galiliee are accepted christ? jesus traveled in galilee;he did not want to travel in judea, because the jewish authorities there were wanting to kill him (JOHN 7:1) after herod died,an angel of the lord appeared in a dream to joseph in egypt and said,"get up,take the child and his mother, and go back to the land of israel, because those who tried to kill the child mesiah are dead." so joseph got up,took the child and his mother, and went back to israel.but when joseph heard that archelaus had succeded his father herod as king of judea,he was afraid to go there.he was given more instructions in a dream,so he went to the galilee and made his home in a town name NAZARETH.and so what the prophets had said came true:"he will be called a NAZARENE (MATHEW 2:19-23) so NAZARETH LOCATED IN GALILEE and JUDEA located in ISRAEL.WHERE IS THE GALILEE?

Hello,

1) We do not really know how many Jews in that region rejected or accepted Jesus. From the crowds mentioned that greeted him going into Jerusalem, one could see that he may have been rather popular with the masses. It looks like just a segment of the society on the higher and mightier business and religious class of Jerusalem who wanted to keep their status quo did not like him and wanted him removed.

2) I do not know if their was a difference in people's mentality or outlook between the two regions but don't forget that Jerusalem was under Roman control whereas Galilee was under King Herod Agrippa's control as Rome had given him a lot of autonomy and perhaps one could be a little mouthier there with the exception of running down Herod as John the Baptist found out..
