Why didn't companies make more 2-stroke cars? Personally, I think they are awesome. What is the biggest 2-stroke engine out there? I'm into 2-strokes, and I would like to have a 2-stroke car too, but I want it to be able to keep up with the top of the line (Supras, Skylines, Evos, etc.).

2-strokes are on the way out. They spew much more emissions than a 4 stroke.

In the United States the EPA banned them for street use in the middle 80's.

They are in the process of banning them for off road use.

There are some rather large 2 stroke motors. Look at the outboard motor industry. I have seen them as large as 3.8L V6 configuration paking over 300 horse power. However even these are being phased out and are being replaced with 4 stroke engines.

the bearings would go bad kind of like the wankel engine, the rpm would burn them out very quickly
