Why wont my 2001 Hyundai accent accelerate past 55?

2001 Hyundai 1.6 liter won't accelerate past 55, i replaced the coil pack in it, it solved the problem for a few days, and then started acting up again, so i tested the coil again and nothing was wrong, so today i took off the fuel filter and i was just wondering if i traced the problem to the right source, so if you could please give me more info about this type of car problems too, and tell me if i am doing it right, thank you
