Why won't my 2006 Honda Civic SI start and when jumped, still not run properly?
I have a 2006 Honda Civic SI and it would not start today. When I put the ignition in the setting right before the starter, the dashboard lights flashed and clicked very rapidly. The car wouldn't even try to turn over when started. I got it jumped and it started right up, but when driving, I noticed the power steering (which is electrical on this car) cutting out at times. I also noticed that turning on a turn signal would cause the headlights to dim. I made it to my destination, only about 0.25 miles away, and left my car running for about 30min when I got there. When I got in the car and turned on the headlights (car already running), the car instantly died. I got it jumped again and tried driving off, and about 30 seconds later it died and came to a stop. The only way I got it back home was by driving with the headlights off most of the way (I had another car in front of me with hazards on) and keeping the engine revs high. What sounds like the culprit of this problem?
