why wont my asus mboard update drivers?

ive used asus update - downlaoded the updates...unzipped the downloads...when i click asus setup it gives me three options - modify, repair, remove...when i say modify, set up status comes up and it doesnt install anything!
Why isnt it updating? What shall i do now?
