Why Won't my blackberry bold charge?

my phone is still on, the battery bar is red and empty, and it son low battery, but its too low for radio use, and i plug in my charger and it doesn't charge, i try all the power outlets in the house, and i use my computer USB charger, and it still doesnt want to to charge. what do i do? please!
