why wont my computer save my add-ons to internet explorer?

whenever i download any add-ons like google toolbar or flash player it wont keep it saved when i power down the computer. i have add-ons turned on under the tools option

depending on which version of internet explorer you have , go to tools and manage add ons to see if you can add your toolbar ,also you should check for virus and worms, use a good scan tool to check for these, as they can and will cause all kinds of problems ,from corrupting files to preventing any and all up-dates and add ons .
As far as A**es telling you to download fart fox or what ever DO NOT .
you run what you feel is right and if the children don`t like that, let them play elsewhere. I had the same kinda shot answers when I had problems ,and it really peeves me when someone says it`s because I`m running IE bull stuff (sorry I got carried away)
