Why won't my HTC Hero download ringtones from ANY of my apps?

I have an HTC Hero and I've tried almost ALL of the ringtone apps I could find but each time I try to download a ringtone, it keeps giving me the "Ringtone Download Failed" message and I don't know why. When I searched for help on my phone, I got something about changing my Gmail account back to a Google Mail account. Will this help me and if so, how do I go about doing it? If it won't, can someone please tell me what the problem is?

As soon as i saw your picture and your skin color i knew that you are doing something wrong.Please don't be shy your kind is not good with technology so just leave it....

Take this exact question and instead of asking yahoo. Ask a representative of your cell phone carrier. Would have had the answer already...
