Why won't my snowmobile start?

I have a 2001 Polaris Classic 500 and when I try to start it there is very little gas going through the gas line. There is nothing stuck in the lines and the tank is full. If I spray starting fluid in the spark plug holes it will barely start but will eventually idle fine. If someone could help me that would be great, thanks.
