We have wireless internet and our new laptops have no problem picking up wireless internet in the house. My brother just bought a 3 year old dell laptop and it does not connect to the wireless. I am not a computer person, but I have heard that some computers are not blue tooth enabled. Could this be the problem? If so, could we buy an adapter or something to make it work?
Thanks!!!

Most likely, your wireless access point is using a newer wireless technology such as 802.11g or 802.11n and your older laptop is only qualified for 802.11b networks. In the settings on your access point (or router) look for an option to enable 802.11b access or mixed b/g access.

It could be the older computer doesn't have a wireless card in it. Check that first. If you don't want to buy a card, you can get a wireless usb adapter. Also Bluetooth has nothing to do with wireless internet access. It is used for a wireless keyboard, mouse, etc. and has short range.
