Why won't Tumblr let me log in on my laptop?

Every time I go to Tumblr and click login it doesn't do anything. I tried typing in tumblr.com/login but then when I hit enter it asks me to download an unknown file called "register5b36c60a" and if I don't it just won't do anything. It lets me log in fine on the desktop but not the laptop. I think I have IE6 as a browser, could I just need to update? Or could someone tell me what that file is?

I have exactly the same problem! Have either of you two managed to fix it?
 
I'm having the exact same issue, with the exact same message popping up telling to download that code. Has anyone found out how to fix it?
 
I FOUND THE SOLUTION (Sorry for being so late to reply). All you have to do is change your time and date settings to the correct time and date. (I'm using Google Chrome by the way, and it wouldn't work, so that's how I pretty much found this out from a certificate notice). If it is correct, then try restarting the computer/internet.
