Why can't he just snap his fingers and cause them to be so?
Did he not do that exactly to create the heavens, earth, and the universe? With such an immense, overwhelming creation of the Universe, literally appearing as he simply said for it to appear, why the need for such mysteriously intricate plans for things minute compared to his first creation?
And why would he work in mysterious ways? If he works in non-mysterious ways, wouldn't that be more evident that it was his will that came to be, and not just chance?

I didn't choose to be born into sin. Jesus "died" for my sins, did he not? Why was that necessary? Why didn't God simply say "Let there be no sin", etc.?
