will a vodafone sim card work in a t-mobile blackberry?

i have a 8110 pearl on t-mobile will it work on the vodafone network or do i have to have it unlocked first.

If you bought if from carphone warehouse it will automatically be on all 4 networks.

If not you need it unblocked. It only cost around 10pound to get it done on the market though.
