i just brought an 08 fusion
i want to know if i get rims, tint and remote starter added to the car will it decrease the value of it?

i figured that if i paid for it myself versus getting it financed with the car ill save a lot of money and my car note will not be as high just incase i have a rainy day
what about facotry rims or alloyed

why would you waste your money on rims, tinted windows, and a remote starter? such a waste!

The automatic starter increases the value if installed corectly and so do the tinted windows... unless they are too dark... which that is illegal anyway... but rims decrease if they are tacky spinners or cheap stuff.

Yes it will. Any kind of variation you make to the car decreases the value.

No it won't decrease the value, but, when you sell it, you may not get the money back that you've spent on the extra goodies.

As long as you don't junk the car up with the additions, it won't decrease the value. On the same note though, it won't increase it either.

YES. No one want's someone else's "customized" car. And by the time you sell it there will be alot of them for sale that are stock... then yours.. supply and demand, lots of supply of stock ones, and low demand for yours!
