I currently use a Optoma EP719 (Native 1024x768) projector, with a Progressive scan DVD to watch movies. When I watch a 16:9 movie, the projection displays black on top & bottom, and the image is centered (I assume reduces to a few pixels from that native resolution).
If I buy a Blueray player... given that the projector doesn't fill the screen, but only uses the center pixels... will it be as clear as the DVD? or will it look better???
I know it is confusing... I hope someone can help
