Will my at&t blackberry work with my cingular sim card?

I just bought a at&t Blackberry 7280 off of eBay and I was wondering if I could use my Cingular Sim card in it?
Also, someone told me I had to get a special plan for the blackberry, is that true?
 
no , you dont need a special plan.
yes , it probably will work
since at&t is the new cingular then it will probably just convert on its own.
 
yes you have to have special plan for a blackberry cell phone on cingular or att. That is what i had to do when i got my new blackberry phone from att about 8 months ago. Im pretty sure that it hasnt changed.

HI no you can't use your blackberry 7280 mobile with Cingular sim card until you unlock it from AT&T network lock ..You can easily unlock your phone using sites like UnBBlock.com here they render unlock code for all Blackberry mobile models at reliable cost ....After unlocking your mobile you can freely use it with any GSM sim ...
