I need true answers for this, whether they're encouraging or NOT.
I'm 18 years old, a Filipino but currently living in Norway with my father. Ever since I was 12 years old, writing became my obsession, real addiction. I was in grade six when I first won a story writing contest and it was when it all began. I started writing different stories and poems which earned me compliments from my teachers and relatives.(I'm not bragging!). I graduated in the elementary as a salutatorian, which brought my parent's feet off the ground TEMPORARILY. When I started my freshmen in a private Highschool, I was lost in my own world, my own fantasy. I never cared about my grades which led me to having a subject failure. I write and write during classes, I never listened to lectures. I was living my life with writing.As the school year ended, my mom had me transferred to another school. But that didn't stop me, I still write and write. I have written a lot of novels, all unfinished. I want to finish them but I can't. The fear of not having my novels published one day is haunting me. Now, I'm in second year college and still writing, still dreaming. I once was an editor in our school's magazine but I backed out, considering my studies. I'm doing well in school today but the itch of writing just wouldn't go.I'm currently writing a novel about a girl falling in love to a werewolf and I'm very willing to have it published. Let me just tell you it's not similar to the Twilight series. I might say it's different. Very far. So, someday, do i ever have a chance to have this novel published? considering the facts that i don't know about these agents and publishing staff....it's my biggest dream..more of an obsession....and i want it to come true...i'd never mind dying a month later.(kidding.) So please help? thanks a lot!!
