Will my new Leporinus Fasciatus fish hurt my Pleco?

I have a semi aggressive tank of 55 gallons. I know the Lep Fasciatus (currently 3" long) will get large so please skip that advice. Will it hurt my Pleco? Seems to be way too interested in him and keeps "bumping" him. Should I be concerned? It is a 4" bristle nose Pleco. Thanks.
I had a plastic cave already and added a driftwood cave when I added the Lep Fasciatus!
