Will my Verizon sim card work in a T-mobile phone?

I might be getting a Pantech Jest 2 on Verizon wireless because it uses a sim card (surprisingly), but its a simple phone.So i'm not sure this will work? But also I used to have the HTC HD2 for T-mobile and i was wondering if i got the Pantech can i use the simple phones sim card in the HD2?
Sorry if the questions are worded right.

Absolutely no ! You can't use your Verizon sim card with HTC HD2 . Because, it is a GSM phone . It is not compatible with CDMA sim cards . If you want to use other carrier, you can unlock your HTC phone from T-mobile network by using unlock code . You can obtain code from any of the online vendors like Unlocking4U.com to unlock it at affordable cost . Once, your phone is unlocked from network lock, you can use it with any other GSM carriers internationally not with CDMA networks .
