will nvidia 3d glasses work with my 120hz lg tv?

i have a 120hz lg tv as my computer monitor and im wondering if the nvidia 3d glasses will work with it? i know it requires a 120hz monitor but im just not sure if theres any other specific things needed in the monitor that a tv might be missing or something
