More families want all male babies. They will find a way to choose whether or not the baby is male or female. As a result, their may be less females being born in the future.
Now I'm not saying that families don't love their female kids as much. It's just that BEFORE they give birth, they always pleed for a male. And they keep doing that on the second child as well.
My opinion, if all this is actually going to happen, is that a family should have both male and female kids. If they are just going to have one child, they should not use the technology to determine the gender of their child. They should just give birth gender-blindly. I don't think it is true that males are more important than females. That's such a lame stereotype.
I also think that the price of the female clothes should drop down to the price of male clothes or at least lower the female dress standards.
Cassa - It's ridiculous. Some mothers believe in those stereotypes about male>females too.
Shriekof... - It's hard to believe it is BS when you encounter numerous periods of influences that are right in front of you. I'm talking about real life too.
Laura K - Of course a lot of women are becoming liberated from this traditional way of thinking.
Sashtou - Yes, that's what I'm worried about. Society might crash like that.
