...to study science, like Sputnik did? In the 1950's after Sputnik, there was a big emphasis on math and science education in the U.S. because of fear of being beaten in the space race. Now Iran has launched its own telecommunications satellite.
Is it possible that education in the U.S. could again emphasize the sciences? Or do you think the obsession of so many kids with sports makes it impractical?
 
hahah nope, we laugh at them, they are only what 60 years behind us
 
Although we should Not laugh on them. And we should respect their attempt and success. I must say we need not worry about it. They are far behind us. We are going at good pace and speed as far as space science is concerned.
