Small Paws is truly a wonderful organization. They rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Bichons/Bichon mixes/Bichon-like dogs. They do not euthanize healthy dogs; they rarely euthanize ill ones if it is possible to correct it with surgery/medicine. Because of this, they must pay for spaying/neutering of the animals, feeding, and surgery/medicine for their dogs. New dogs are always pouring in from puppy mills, irresponsible dog owners, and people who can't keep their dogs any longer.
You can help! Small Paws has recently rescued a dog hit by a car. This dog has a broken pelvis that causes him to scream in pain whenever he's hurt. It's really sad.
He needs surgery, but as this is an emergency they need the money in advance.
